The band accompanying her seem to be the program's own band: https://en.wikipedia.org/...erous_Band . I certainly recognise Paul Shaffer behind the keyboards, and the rest of the musicians seem to be the same as the ones in this video from 1988: https://www.youtube.com/w...mhnxAbPvD8 . I'm not sure about the backing vocalists, but I suppose they're locals hired for the performance and not people in Prince's employ.
