Did any of Sheila's albums before Sex Cymbal come out on CD?

yep..but they're all imports and very hard to find..and if you do find them, they tend to be a bit pricey

I saw "Glamorous Life' on CD at a used record store once...I was stupid and didn't buy it

As far as I know, "The Glamorous Life" and "Romance 1600" are easy enough to find- I've bought both on Amazon in the past year or so. "Sheila E." is harder to come by- I'd say try E-bay, but expect to pay that bit more. Still a lot cheaper than Jill Jones though...

I just got her first 2 albums on tape from a Prince fan on the net.

4.Oliver's House - 6 (Catchyish)
5.Next time wipe the lipstick - 5 (Average)
6.Glamarous Life - 9 (Great record)

Romance 1600

2.Dear Michelangelo - 6 (Slightly Irritating)
3.Love Bizarre - 9 (Wow! Not much of a song but what a record and I love the 'Sex Shooter' drum)

All the albums are on CD - all of them except "Sheila E" are easy to find.

I got Sheila E. on Ebay for about $25.

There's always some on there.

I love Romance 1600 the most - That's one of my favourite Prince records period - the only track I'm not crazy about is Yellow, and I'm starting to even like that - especially towards the end with Sheila going on about bananas and prunes!

I have all 3 Sheila Paisley CDs and bought them when they came out. The 3rd one is the best, with Glamorous Life is close behind. I am not crazy over 1600...LOVE Love Bizarre but thats about it (title track is ok).

The only Prince side-project original CDs I don't own is The Family or Madhouse 8 (I have CD-R copies though). Those things are a fortune on e-bay. I saw The Family go for $80 and Madhouse around that amount. Thats just plain nuts.

Try going to www.half.com. I bought these for under $20 bucks on cd.
