Complete Vault albums? Susan? Women.

I'm not hating the additional songs to previously released albums, but I hope we get some solid Prince sequenced albums sooner than later. His vision for packaging the albums is important especially as he balanced limitations of format (vinyl, cd, mixtapes), serving the appetite of fans and new listeners, injecting new sounds into the landscape, and expanding his legacy. LoveSexy proved that he saw great value in the order of songs.

And I am 100,000% in agreement with Susan Rogers (and Prince/prince*) that EVERYTHING SHOULD BE RELEASED. And I think it’s super odd that a woman — with such a brilliant mind and an honest self described “non musician” — so familiar with Prince’s process on his greatest “albums” doesn’t seem to be a part of his posthumous releases. Is it all dudes?

Prince clearly valued women in his music more than most folks give him credit for. How many male lead bands featured women musicians in such prominent key/critical positions?

To be fair Susan has been brought on as a consultant. She also has a full time job and other commitments. I'm sure she'll put in as much input as she can.
