I was SO happy to have stumblined upon this last night. I just LOVE these technical interviews where you guys squeeze off technical details. As we have heard repeatedly, he may hire diff engineers, but he makes them work HIS way. You could tell Fluff had reservations on recoding in the 'red'. I've heard this from others. You do what he says and not what you were taught. So neat was knowing Prince loved all music including Metallica's master of Puppets...and he played along!!

I love it to hear someone actually say that Prince was the greatest guitarist. I don't care about olympian level guitarists...guys who can play 1000 notes a sec but have no musical value. Nearly everything P played was musical. IEven when he played fast, it was brief and fit the song,
