Recent pics of Jimmy Jam I just saw some pics of Jimmy from Janets concert in mpls last night. He does not look well at all. It's sorta the same as watching prince waste away those last few months is what I took from the photos. Anyone have any insight

Your pic is not that recent. Try this link. Not sure how to post the pic. I'm sure you will be of my mindset when you see it https://m.facebook.com/gr...5492695974 OldFriends4Sale said:

I think he looks fine. As noted, he was very big (yes, overweight) before. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I've always found him to be gracious and articulate.
Yes, he has lost a significant amount of weight; hopefully it has been intentional.

Drastic weight loss like this at his age, will not look as good right away. The skin doesn't bounce back right away and it takes some time for the body and skin to rejuvenate

Jimmy lost most of the weight in a 6 month period in 2018.

He probably did it for health reasons like so many others. Its been a while and he's not looking frail. It was just sudden. He looks fine once you adjust to the difference. But im sure we'll keep an ear out. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

That's what I'm saying. The OP's hyperbole about him being sickly and wasting away is disrespectful and ignorant, at best. Someone takes care of themselves and loses weight, and suddenly they're "wasting away"??? It's the same hypocritical statements like "She's too thin, someone give her a burger," or "she's so fat, why doesn't she take a walk instead of sitting there"? It's a no-win/no-win with people like that. As far as Prince, he was sick and an addict, unfortunately like every other rock star who dies on drugs. He was in the darkest part of drug addiction to opioids. Yeah, people won't wanna hear that. They love to romanticize that he planned his death, left secret messages, and suddenly just offed himself in an elevator (cuz that'll be cool since he talked about it in a song one time 35 years ago). But that's why he looked horrible, he was on drugs. They change your whole chemistry inside and out. I don't know who he thought he was hiding it from - maybe himself.
I'm glad Jimmy is on track for staying alive for his wife and kids. He's had a rich and varied life full of amazing experiences. He's historical. I hope he's around another 40 years. He and Terry are 62 years old (and 9 months and 25 days old, according to Alexa). It's never too late to sort yourself out like that. Kudos to Jimmy - and Randy Jackson who has also lost a lot of weight and, along with his line of eyewear for the past 15 years, is soon launching a range of health supplements and guides to living healthier. He has fought diabetes, as well.
Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

I saw Jimmy a few months ago and he looked great. It's NOTHING wrong with him. "That mountain top situation is not really what it's all cracked up 2 B when was doing the Purple Rain tour had a lot of people who knew 'll never c again @ the concerts.just screamin n places they thought they was suppose 2 scream."

So what's the big deal. OP gave an opinion so we have to argue about it? Jumpy. At the end of the day NO ONE knows..could be healthy or not.

Thank you, my thoughts exactly.

Jimmy may have had gastric bypass surgery, which has become quite common. The weight loss happens very quickly too. I think he looks great.

Was thinking the same thing. He looked frail. I don't argue with people about my opinions. Scram. I said what I said.

He's lost alot of weight. I lost 210 lbs and have maintained for almost 2 years. I've gotten the 'he looks sick' comments when I'm perfectly healthy Every minute of last night is on my face today....

Look at Al Sharpton. He's lost mad weight for years now... Sometimes you just gotta lose the weight.

Jimmy's lost some weight before, but never this much. He probably did have a bypass of some sort, which is a perfectly viable option these days. My friend, who was pushing 300lbs as a 5'2 woman, got the sleeve almost a year ago, and it's changed her life at 50 years old. Another friend from high school had the whole gastic bypass years ago when her first born was becoming more mobile and she wasn't getting around with him as easily. People often see the bypass surgeries as an easy way out, but they're not. They can literally save someone's life. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Doesn’t matter how the weight is lost - surgery or diet both work. * I recently watched him and Terry at the RARHOF. They were there for Janet. It was the first time I had seen Jimmy and I thought, wow look at him!! I thought he looked good.
