On his FB page, St. Paul posted a video as he was able to walk thru the old Flyte Tyme studios outside Minneapolis (which later housed the Minneapolis Media Institute where he taught). It's due to be torn down soon for new development. Jam & Lewis have long since moved to L.A. (finally). He toyed around with a video effect and lip synced his latest song, "Something In The Water", just because.

On Janet and/or Jam's Instagram/FB there are videos of them in what used to the be main control room where Control, Rhythm Nation, janet., etc were recorded. Janet points out the vocal booth where she stood and record her vocals. Jimmy points out where they had a bank of keyboards in the control room, etc.

The studio, for those who don't know, was just what looked like an office building in a business park. It wasn't anything fancy or anything that stood out. You'd have to know where you were going to be able to even recognize it. But the history made in that place! SOS band, Cherelle (I assume for both), Janet, Alexander O'Neal... the list goes on and on.

Put this into Google Maps and it'll take you to the building. Street view is only on the main road. The MMI sign is still out front in the photo: 44°51'56.15"N 93°19'53.27"W

Just for those who are that curious, it's just over 12 miles from Paisley Park to MMI.
