Apollonia 6 album STILL not on TIDAL

They had "Sex Shooter" on a playlist and the performer was listed as Shannon, from a very generic Movie Songs compilation. I don't think it is Shannon of "Let The Music Play" fame.

Now... if Prince said you could put all his stuff on TIDAL, why would you hold out on uploading Apollonia 6? We've already had the 30th anniversary, the 35th anniversary is showing now in theatres.

What's the damn hold up?

Now that you mention it, it's a little odd that WB, who -as far as we know- still own the masters to A6 and V6, and probably also The Family, Mazarati and Taja Sevelle (maybe even Jill Jones), didn't take the opportunity to finally upload those albums on all streaming platforms in hope that Originals would sort of promote them inderectly. Either those records are entangled in legal issues that we're not aware of (but I don't see why that would be the case since WB had no problems keeping the Time and Sheila catalogues available for all those years), or they're a very low priority for WB neutral

Another missed opportunity I guess...

Glad I own both CDs. The thought of having to depend on a label to make albums available on a streaming service to listen to the music I want to hear is excruciating. ill

For anyone interested, I saw a Japan copy of "The Family" CD on ebay over the weekend. Starting bid is $39. It only had a couple of days left on the auction. The shipping is reasonable, too.

Be very careful with eBay. If something looks too good to be true, it probably is.
The bootlegs have become harder to spot, I've heard some have them have copied everything right down the Matrix number & the OBI strip.

I'm happy I acquired my Japanese copies of The Family & Apollonia 6 decades ago, long before the bootlegs deception was sophisticated enough to fool anyone.

EDIT: Beware of Madhouse & Jill Jones CDs on eBay as well.
