Is there much info on Tommy Barbarella, NPG keyboardist?

The latest I've heard of Tommy was he performed a Prince Medley in Minneapolis in April past. Although he's active on social media, he doesn't accept many friend requests and seems to like to keep private.

Is there any information about him, such as date of birth, his musical influences, how he was discovered by Prince, etc.

Is the ultimate goal of prince.org to have 0 topics at all? I mean, everything can be searched for... But this thread might shed light on some lesser-known ventures by Tommy B.
.
Looks like he collaborated on a jazz CD with Sophia Shorai in 2010. He also toured with Nick Jonas for a bit.

No. Cassandra, Morris, Matthew Rhodes, Phil Davis, Frank McComb (who sang "We're A Winner") all played keyboards.

I guess I must have forgotten that Kat Dyson was there on guitar. She always seemed to fade into the background for me. Eddie M. was on sax, too.

I think the drummer was John Roberts, hwo was also known as Lil John. He's played with Janet on the Velvet Rope tour, MJ, Elton John, Patti, Latifah, Jill Scott, Bilal, Common, Mos Def, Frank McComb, and tons more. He's been on almost every award show possible.

I don't know if that NAACP band was a house band mixed with Prince folks, or if Prince picked all those folks to play with him. It was such a unique configuration.

If you check YouTube? Just search for Tommy Barbarella. You will find he's been sitting with Charles Lazarus and The Steeles (yes the same Steeles that Prince had in his shows sometimes) show. He also did a Love 2 The Nines show here in Minneapolis in April. You will also find other musicians he has worked with and produced.

Yes - discourage people from posting, that is a real legacy strategy to keep this site active. I don't buy this is educating or encouraging better posts. How many people have posted got this treatment and just said 'fuck it' and never came back?
