hoho, some serious shit stirring in there! hah lol Jill interviews are always great, I wish her album would get a rerelease, even in 2019 it deserves more exposure.

I'm still with Alan Leeds re: the Saturday Night Live 2014 performance though.

When Prince was alive Jill was never afraid to speak her mind. Not everyone liked what she had to say then, Would love to read what she said.

Jill Jones is a trip and a half, that's for sure cool

Prince playing sax?! Oh, I would love to hear that. Same for hearing When Doves Cry with all the tracks.

And this bon mot: "why do we do the chorus on a song that sounds like Scritti Politti? Lololol

Thank you for you sharing this thoroughly entertaining interview.

There’s been a lot of supposed fact-stating about Jill’s vocals on the Originals version of Baby, You’re a Trip being spliced in from later recordings. I hope this interview puts that ish to rest. Thank you for posting it!

It wasn't always good, and it was more or less in the last 5-6yrs prior to Prince passing that she started posting more (then delete it) The last big one I remember was co-signing Sinead OConnor about Prince being physically abusive

The thing I remembered most while reading this is that Prince had matured into a very different man by the time he passed. Yes some things were the same but he was much calmer and more accepting person, and had had a lifetime of experiences between the 80s and 2016 to help him grow.

I did see though what she means about his competitiveness. Lol.

Y'know...Jill's said some rather odd things over the years (maybe she was just being cryptic or misspoke, at times), but I truly believe she may be the most intelligent and grounded of the lot.
