She said in a statement on the site for the Nothing Compares 2 Prince Tribute that she recorded at least five songs with 3rd Eye Girl in 2015 and was planning to open with them and The Golden Hippie for Prince's tour she said was planned to coincide with the release of Purple Rain Deluxe.

A STRIKING purple-haired American bass player has been identified as the mystery woman who kept private company with Prince into the wee hours at a Double Bay hotspot at the weekend.

She also posted a beautiful clip of Prince playing "Love Thy Wiil Be Done" from one of the shows that Prince played for her on a stereo in his hotel room. She showed video of his knit cap and sceptor on a table as it played.

Yes,it was sad to learn what had been planned. I assume she played bass but she can also play guitar. She said the songs she did with 3rd Eye Girl and The Golden Hippie (Marissa Jack) were recorded in 2015 at Paisley Park. Maybe it was for another 3rd Eye Girl album.

I don't believe they ever got to perform live together unfortunately. She said that she was planning to tour with them following Prince's Piano Mic shows and she mentioned in her IG post with the clip from the show in Sydney that they talked about their plans for the summer. Perhaps that was what she was referring to.

Yep! A lot from the last few years too. I recall it being mentioned somewhere that Prince recorded a few albums worth of material with 3rd Eye Girl but Hannah said they never officially recorded another album. I loved Nik's story as well.
