Support for Shelby J - and her new song Shelby J. announced on Facebook today that she has been battling breast cancer this year and is now cancer free- which makes this a very special Christmas for her. She also debuted a new song “God is here.” I think a special someone in heaven helped her get through her health challenges. I hope some of us Purple Fam can purchase more of her music and help pay for what are probably some pretty big health bills. | |

The moment I heard the first few notes of Shelby’s clip it brought a smile to my face. Hearing her music immediately reminded me of hearing her with Prince in concert. The song sounds very good- her voice and the horns. | |

I see Shelby is promoting an event at the Capri Theater during ‘celebration week’. I’m curious..why do they wait so long to announce the celebration event? Last year it was the end of February before an announcement went out. Seems to me it’s a disadvantage for people who haven’t attended previously and need more time to make plans. Adding in airfare and hotel accommodations plus all the associate events that aren’t included in the price of the celebration tickets and it’s not a cheap event at all. Paisley Park is in your heart
