Yes, two years ago I was a member on LSA but have left after a short while as it is no place for me. It is a plain gossip page and I have never cared for gossip. Getting back to the thread topic real quick... Was Andy in this week's episode? She tweeted a reminder to watch her first one but wasn't in the following two that I watched. She also hasn't said much lately about the show but she and Chantal Thuy have apparently become close going by their IG stories yesterday. I assume Andy will be in some upcoming episodes since she has added the Black Lightning hashtag to her IG profile. I saw a screen shot of an episode with Chantal's character Grace in bed with Anissa so I suppose that she will be her love interest and not Andy's Zoe B.

I can't figure out why 1 person has so many ID's? How do you find the time for all that, and still have time to have sex with Prince's ghost?

Yeah the thought of that made me uneasy. Andy does have the look but I love her voice and I think she is a talented lyricist. It's cool that she got to both sing and act on Black Lightning. I've liked Andy since Prince first introduced us to her and I continued to follow her music after she left. I see her more like the little sister I didn't have. I was listening to the Chicago HOB show from 2012 earlier and finally heard what Prince said about having a crush on her though. After,he said the trumpet player got spit all over the stage and he was about to fall down He was in a very silly mood that night.

A group that I am a member of. It's audio of the entire show and it included Andy's performances of "Story of You & I" "If I Was King" and "Nothing More" I thought that she sounded good. Prince said after she did "People Pleaser" "I don't care what ya'll say,I got a crush on her! Good Lord!" It had Prince's speech at the end as well when he told the audience they had to leave due to the curfew. They got pretty rowdy and Prince was trying to explain to them calmly that the police were shutting them down and they had to go. The audience sounded pretty upset.

It has occurred to me that Andy has her whole life ahead of her and that she may try many things. She’ll make mistakes, she’ll have successes, she’ll experience all of life. I hope. It is possible of course to go too far down one road and give up one thing, but I hope as I do for anyone that she always comes back to what matters.

Yeah I think he was trying to down play it a bit. After listening to the show again,he was in a very silly mood and I think he was trying to be funny from the way he was talking. It was also amusing to hear Andy giving cues to the band and she seemed to be trying to emulate Prince a little. She had been around for almost two years by that time so it was obvious that something was going on.She said before she sang "Story of You & I" at HOB, "Sometimes when you fall in love it's something real." I guess at the time,she thought it was. I thought they worked well together musically and I was kind of disappointed when she left so abruptly. In December of 2012 she said on FB that the next video would be for "Yellow Gold" and in January she talked about recording songs for a possible new album. It sounded promising but she left shortly after. I really liked two of the demos she shared back then "Pharaoh" and "Sudama" and I wondered if they were songs that had been intended for the next album. I recently found a recording of "Sudama" online and I love it. Very sweet and written for her nephew according to Dr.Funk and I wish she had put it on an album. It would have fit well on "One Step Closer."

I’m sure she’ll take Prince with her in her heart, but she may need a break from it all for a while.

I think you may be right. At one of her recent online shows, she sang several Prince related songs back to back and she appeared to be forcing herself through some. I think she may feel obligated to perform those songs for her fans who also love Prince. According to her set list,she was planning to sing "Time" and "Long Gone" but decided not to do them and said she had done enough sad songs and closed with "Yellow Gold" instead. Most of the songs she chose last month were associated with him though and she seemed in good spirits. Since she hasn't scheduled a show this month,I think she may be taking a bit of a break. She also said at the end of the last one that she wanted to focus on the music she's currently working on and that was her reason for taking a break from MM.
