Bare My Naked Soul is a guitar masterpeice that could easily be ranked with the all time great blues rock guitar albums. Sadly, it is out of print and few people heard it when it was available. I bought it when it first came out as I have been a huge fan of Jesse's since his days with the Time. I found the CD in a used bin in a funky little CD store in Venice Beach for 50 cents. I get 2 of them for prosperity. That was at least 5 years ago and it hasnt gotten old yet. Seek it out and dig it.

Bare my naked soul is a great cd. I got it when it came out.

sonny t or andre on bass
morris or micheal b on drums

A few years ago,I heard that he was living in L.A. working as a producer.He was producing an album for The Dramatics (a 70s R&B vocal group),but I don't know if the album ever came out.He was also producing a few hip-hop groups but,again,I don't know if it ever came out.His last CD of new music 'Bare My Naked Soul' came out in 1996.In recent years,there have been a few Jesse Johnson hits compilations on the market.I haven't heard of any new projects.

He played on one of the recent (maybe last) Rod Stewart album. On the Euro release of this album, Rod did a cover of "Peach" but it may have only been a b side here in N. America.

He's probably playing as a session player here and there.

Too bad... Bare My Naked Soul was INCREDIBLE...

Well last I heard was that he lives and L.A. and mostly does session work.
It's a shame he doesn't record as a solo act anymore...he's an increddible talent

I propose we do a "Where Jesse Johnson At" campaign and find his butt and make him come out of hiding and blow a cap off some new music. I personally need at least a follow-up to "Bare My Naked Soul." Maybe Conan O'Brien can do one of his searches.

I'm tired of the "American Idiot" talent we are subjected to.Just because someone says something is good, doesn't make it so.

He is doing very well writing and producing in Los Angeles.

It's funny about a month ago I sent an email to my friend about my recent MPLS radio special. She replied back and said it is very strange that as she typed back to me that Jesse Johnson was in her house visiting her family in her living room.

Love to have him on the show one day and like Jellybean Johnson says, we all would love to see Jesse play out more.
