I didn't know she had come out.If you're asking why she left, she said in an interview with 'The Sac Bee' last year that they disagreed on the direction of her music and that he wanted her to go back to the acoustic style she had before meeting him,while she wanted to stay with the funk and big band style that he had introduced her to and wanted to keep the horns.She said in her interview with Joe Kelley that he took the horns away from her and I think that may have caused a rift and may be one of the reasons they parted ways. She also said she realized later on that he was right and decided to go back to her original sound. | |

Andy has never said she is a lesbian but she is very supportive of the LGBTQ community. As for whether she was Prince's lover,her letter to him suggests that they were together and possibly intimate at the time. Also the revelation that she wrote Nothing More for him. She was in a relationship with a guy who was closer to her age for nearly two years after she quit working with Prince. She's been very quiet about her personal life after their breakup. | |
