I've questioned the same thing. Who was doing the D&P/Love symbol period hair? I didn't think that was her. When did Earl Jones leave the camp?

Maybe Tanya did hair for others in the camp because in 87/88 Earl Jones(Jill Jones's uncle) was still his hair stylist

Phillip C - full name, Philip Carreon.

Appeared in Graffiti Bridge as Prince's kekboard player and at the beginning of the Partyman video, announcing, 'All hail to the king ... Partyman'

When he finished as Prince's hair stylist he continued work on the US West Coast.

He now works for Garnier and appears on Project Runway. You can find articles and videos of him and his work on the web.

Maybe she means that she was around during that time since she said she was dating one of Prince's bodyguards.During the interview,she was specifically asked about the look that he had during The Sacrifice of Victor with the "finger waves" and she said that Tanya started that look and she kept it up after she left.

She also said that she was 19/20 years old around the time of the "Buckwheat braids" 1998/99 and the NPS/Rave albums. Which would made her around 17 at the time of the Oprah interview and 9 or 10 years old in 88/89, 15 around the time of the "Typhoon". Doesn't add up at all. Tanya made the Typhoon as it was shown in '92. Tanya was credited for "visage" on the Love Symbol album.
