May 1 - Demo Review Panel & Contest First Avenue, 701 First Avenue North, Minneapolis 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. Networking Reception 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Panel & Contest The Chicago Chapter of the Recording Academy, in partnership with ASCAP and Musictech College, is proud to present a demo review panel and contest for residents of Minnesota. Unsigned artists are invited to submit their demos to be reviewed by a panel of experts, with the top 10 submissions being critiqued before the audience. A winner and two runners-up will be awarded prize packages. The evening will also include an informational panel on marketing and promotion as well as a pre-event networking reception with complimentary hors d'oeuvres. The fee to participate in this event is $10 for Recording Academy/ASCAP members per submission, $15 for non-members per submission, and a $30 band rate for three or more to attend.
