Passion and anger are two different emotions, Mumio.

Maybe it's just me, but when someone is coming from a place of anger, I tend to discount anything they say and will choose not to listen. Could be that I might be missing some valuable information. Might be worthwhile to consider the following approach:

Proverb

"you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar"

It is easier to persuade others with polite requests and a positive attitude rather than with rude demands and negativity

Agreed!!!

Jill has never got over the fact Prince and others at the time found her too much hard work. Prince never had time for opinionated women trying to advise on every aspect of his life including music. He stopped working with her and waited till she finally left him alone. He never contacted her again and only by him going to the Funeral of Denise did they see each other again. AND... what did she do? She announced to the world he was on something and needed feeding and told him that she should come back into his life to make him happier. Interfering and too much hard work to put up with

She's angry. That's fine, it's her platform and she can say whatever she wants. I may not always agree with what she says, but I do admire that she is no shrinking violet. Strong women are all that and then some nod

Co-sign on everything you´ve said on this thread so far. I never understood why orgers make such a fuss about Jill´s posts, and I´ve checked out her Twitter and FB pages to see what all the hoopla is about but to no avail. I really don´t understand the anger and mockery directed toward her.

Whatever her "problem" is, it is up to her to deal with it however she wants to. If people have so many issues with her, why do you all continue to look at her social media? Is it just to have something to pick about?

I am not a big fan of Jill, but I don't have any issues with her. My stance remains the same, she can do whatever she wants, people can look or not, but it's her social media to do with as she likes.

Exactly. That's why I stopped following her on social media. I adore Jill, her music, her voice, her place in Prince history, but I had/have no need to follow her and read her angry posts. She can post what she wants to, it's my choice whether I give it my attention, and I chose not to.

Maybe she should write a book and tell her side of the story -- at least put her energies to good use!

Yes perhaps writing a book would be healing for her. She had a fascinating life before and after Prince so she has a complete story to tell. I would buy it.

She's a miserable woman. It has to be exhausting to be soooo outraged and lashing out all the time. I feel bad for her that's she's so full of anger; her life must be very unhappy.

She'll be O.K.. Personally I found that letting go of anger, for me, what was needed. At least Jill isn't picking on small fry at all.
