She did a Beautiful interview about Prince before the reports came out. But like everyone else making a living off their connection to him, she has said nothing about the reports and pictures of his corpse (she was around when his drugs were taking a toll at the end of the Welcome to America tour as well as when he was withdrawing after the surgery) . She is nice about everyone to the point of being almost too nice. sometimes, I think she is just a careerist ( an opportunist without the venom). I really do not know what to think. I wish I knew what was in people's hearts.

I’ve listened to many interviews with Shelby and it’s quite clear she is a positive person and that’s what she’s going to project to the world. It’s because of people like Shelby that Prince’s memory is being kept alive. I just wish some fans could let go of the bitterness and the need to find people to blame/hate on. It’s not like Shelby’s selling personal merchandise with the love symbol on it or Prince stuff celebrity auctions. As far as we know she’s not writing a book about her time with Prince. I don’t care whether someone likes Shelby or not but for any one to suggest in any way that she’s using Prince to benefit her career personally I think is just wrong. There’s no evidence of that.
