OK. When and where did he say that?
Paisley. I believe in the first P&M show. Coincidently,it was that song that Andy tweeted about and Prince responded by tweeting the pic of the dog in the snow.It is one of her favorite recent songs of his, along with Sticky Like Glue but I don't know if Prince was aware of that.
Here are Prince's tweet and retweet...and a Jehovah's Witness response. Because of the way Prince retweets, it doesn't link to Andy's original tweet...or, if it does, I'm such a Twitter novice, I can't locate it without searching her entire Twitter.
No matter how many times I see this one, it never gets old. It would be interesting to see how much time passed between her tweet and his retweet.
I guess some Jehovah's Witnesses were not feeling his relationship with Andy. Apparently, this woman felt it was a "bad association." Considering this public warning, I wonder how much of that he had to deal with behind the scenes.

Ah! The “blame-shifting” tactic again to avoid addressing the great points I’ve made. Here. Let me put them in red.
And, let me put my point to you in red. What I'm saying, Chile, is that you are just grasping at straws since you have NO way of knowing if he was singing about actual events or not. Not that the song "Baby" has anything to do with the many poignant reflections he reportedly made during his PAAM shows. But, then again, that has never stopped you from throwing in the kitchen sink to try to derail an Andy Allo thread. Poor baby. Prince himself said he sang “Baby” when there were no women in his life. It’s how he created...always. I can hardly think of more intimate sentiments than in that song. It was Owen Husney’s favorite. |

I agree, too. The PAAM tour was Prince's historic career retrospective, unlike anything ever done by an artist of his magnitude. I think we should have a moment of silence to mark this Prince.org milestone. |

Andy deleted everything from 2016 off of her Twitter early last year so that may be why it doesn't link to her original tweet. Prince's tweet to her is hilarious! I noticed that person from the JW's often tweeted things like that to him when he would tweet about her.
I wonder why she deleted that part of her Twitter. Perhaps, she felt she had been too forthcoming. When one does that, is it possible, at a later date, to bring back the deleted tweets?
Lastly, I also noticed other such Jehovah's Witness warnings. Were they always from the same person? If so, I wonder if she was a personal acquaintance or just a random JW. I think this might be another clue hidden in plain sight with regard to what happened between Prince and Andy, especially in light of the recent "endogamy" revelation in the Carver County documents. |

I'm not sure.I think it is possible to find them on a site that archives tweets.I saw a few from late 2016 a while back. From what she was saying during her Music Mondays,I think she just wanted to forget the whole year. She said she was ready for the year to be over during her Q&A after Christmas. Yes,the JW warnings were from that same person from what I have seen. I wondered if they knew him personally too and if they were part of his congregation. It does appear that it was not encouraged for a JW to associate with a woman who was outside the faith. |

I can certainly understand why she would want to forget 2016. Most of us here on the Org probably wish we could wake up from this now two-years-long nightmare. At any rate, if you happen upon any of those deleted tweets, please share with us. |

Exactly. I searched on Tweet Tunnel before bed and it only showed back to May of last year so it looks like she deleted the tweets from the first part of last year as well. She did post a few things about her personal life and she may have felt that she shared too much.I could see why she would have wanted to erase the tweets after Prince passed as well as she seemed to be coming from a place of vulnerability and was very open during that time. |

As a marketer, to gauge "interest" based on number of views, you should be monitoring the ratio of views to posts (so if the thread as 100 posts and 1000 views, that'd be 10 views per post). That'll help you make sure your efforts are being used for maximum efficiency. I'd encourage you to take a look at that!
-
Of course, if one were a fan (and not a marketer), then one wouldn't care or pay attention to such things. She'd just enjoy dicussing the topic with like-minded people or anyone who has interesting things to say. Only a marketer is concerned about views, etc.

What ARE you talking about, disch?????????? YOU are the only one on this thread talking about metrics, i. e. views. Is this because I stated the fact that there is "great interest" in Andy and Prince??? I mean, WHAT is UP with you????? Is this thread going along too smoothly, so you want to inject a dose of cynicism? SHEESH. Give it a rest. Please. |

Yes, you said that you've determined that there's "great interest" in prince and andy allo's relationship based on some attribute of the Andy Allo-focused threads on this site. There's some objective way you've come to that conclusion, I assume? It could be number of posts, but since the overwhelming majority of post are made by just 3 screennames, it can't be that. So I assume you have a different measure -- good for you for coming up with ways of measuring your campaign! I'm involved in digital marketing as a profession (not here, of course; would never attempt to use a fan site in that way) so I know that can be hard.

I believe that Fly was the creator of three of the current threads concerning Andy. The other two are by other posters. As they do with other associated artists,Latin has created the majority of them. There are also several threads about Natalya at the moment.I think that's great to support the artists Prince did. From what I've noticed elsewhere on the net, there is a lot of interest in Prince and Andy's relationship and several of the fans liked them as a couple, though I was surprised to see that most were older women. well I didn't say anything about who created all these threads, but it sounds like you closely monitor that, along with other attributes of these threads, and you keep a tally of the specific number of threads about andy allo vs other "associates" (or more accurately girlfriends and female protegees). I do acknowledge the time that those involved in this campaign are putting into it, both in posting to the threads and in monitoring metrics (views, number of threads, etc). It's a significant commitment of hours and days from your lives.
-
If I were as big a fan of andy as you and your colleagues say you are, I'd really focus on promoting her current career (music, acting, etc) not in rehasing her relationship wth a man who sadly passed away 2 years ago. But i know that different marketing efforts have different approaches, and I can understand why you're using this method on this site.

It sounds like you try to dabble in clairvoyance, as well...but, dude, you are barking up the wrong tree with me. I am no more a "marketer" than anyone else who starts threads on Prince.org. I just happen to write well and I have a bit of tech knowledge. And, for your information, I say that there is great interest in Prince and Andy because of the media coverage afforded their collaboration, then and now. For instance, just two days ago, Saturday Magazine, in the UK, ran a cover of Prince and Andy based, it seems, solely on old clips and quotes. But, since you want to talk views on Prince.org, many of the erased threads had 10,000 or more view....but, who's counting??
Just face it: Andy is a star!!!!! I'm sorry, not sorry, that (and my interest in Prindy (Prince & Andy) seems to pain you so much.
Now, here is the UK coverage from this weekend:

You started this particular thread to discuss the photo of Andy in Paisley Park's galaxy room, but it seems to have veered off to other things (picures of andy on magazine covers, etc.). I'll bow out so you can continue discussing the galaxy room photo with other fans interesting in commenting on that specific topic (I'd imagine you want to keep each of your Andy threads focused on the topic you specified in the thread name, rather than just general fawning).

Well, I'm not a dude (sounds like your clairvoyance may have failed you there ) but carry on. And I'm happy to talk about digital marketing over org note, if you ever want some feedback.

Thanks for your offer of assistance, but I'm good. And, BTW, here in the 21 Century, "dude" is a gender-neutral term. |
