Why would I want to hear Shelby (or Wendy or anyone else) talk about the years/eras they weren’t associated with Prince? Of course they’re going to talk about the time when they worked with him. The only thing I want from Prince associates is a celebration of the man and his music. And if they throw in some cool personal stories we might not have heard before, great. I don’t need them ranting on social media about the investigation or posting cryptic BS/throwing shade against someone else or getting into gossip about his private life.

We’ll have to agree to disagree.

I never said I wanted them to go into details about there time away from P. I never said I wanted all the gory details. I meant I want to know if they were concerned and attempting to help in some way (even if it was beating around the bush)If not, I won’t throw money or attention their way.

Their silence along with throwing shade at others makes me feel that they did nothing and may have not even cared as long as they received a paycheck. Trust me. I wish I were wrong. A year and a half ago I believed every single one of these people were Prince's family so to speak but that investigative report has made me doubt everyone. Trust me--I am really hoping and praying someone proves me wrong.

Valid point. I just watched Elisa's interview. She still acts like PRince was concerned with his own health and ate well and that she was surprised how he seemed to be taking a turn for the worse in the last year or so of his life. But Elisa had also referenced an incident they got him through on her facebook. Also in the recent interview, she did mention that if P needed a pain pill people should have been keeping track (which does correspond with the picture she just posted of her dad's meds) I don't know if maybe everyone thought that after P got the hip surgery and once the doctor's got a pain regiment for him that he was becoming more deligent on monitoring his pill usage and that the doctors were there to work on pain control and keep him in the best health possible so he could work.. I don't know. Elisa does seem sincere in that interview and close to P, but it also seems as if his complex personality could be a bit confusing at times to his fellow musicians.

And this is where I say to nobody knows the whole story and the investigation report isn’t the whole story. From what we know Prince ate healthy, didn’t smoke, didn’t drink much. So yeah other than his unfortunate issues with pain killers (and I would argue his lack of proper sleep) he was healthy. The interview Lenny Kravitz did on the day he passed he talked about the amazing shape Prince was in. One of Prince’s personal assistants from 2013 to late 2015, Mariah Brown, also talked about this and genuinely seemed shocked at the cause of death. Though she also said she never saw him take painkillers and never was asked to get painkillers for him. Elisa’s comments about him taking a turn for the worst in the last year or so track with my thoughts that there is more to the story and way to many people are making assumptions and coming to conclusions without knowing the whole story (and assuming everyone talking/interviewed as part of investigation are 100% truthful).

What's more to the story? He died of an overdose of illegal drugs that was in his system. He did not have prescription for any narcs. Period.

The only pain he complained about was in his hands and that is what he told Dr. S. He didn't tell Dr. S he had hip pain. HE did tell him the only surgery's he's had was hip and wisdom teeth taken out.

He didn't go to Dr. S and complain about any hip pain.

He hid his narcs from everyone. He hid them in bottles, jewelry box, etc.

He probably got hooked after his hip surgery. BUT from what other associates are saying, he's been on them a LONG time and always had his associates get them for him under their names.

The only thing the blood work showed, about any ill health was a mild case of anemia.

He had a public personna that he practised clean living. He had a private and secret personna where he obtained (illegal) drugs and took said illegal drugs.

Not 1 family member who is credible has ever said anything about a disease he had. NEVER. Not 1 associate has ever said anything about a disease that he had. NEVER.

Associates have said where they know of and were asked to obtain drugs from their Dr.s for him.

He had drugs in different locations in his private quarters. What does that tell you?

I call BS on disease & BS on suicide.

On the one hand I kind of appreciate when people carry the fuckery from social media over here because it exposes these morons for what they really are. On the other hand I don't think it deters the fuckery so ultimately it doesn't serve any purpose to carry the bone over here. lol
