I think its so beautiful that Van Refers to himself as Robin to Princes Batman....

Van is the only real public figure that's still speaking on & respecting Prince's legacy now. NO ONE else is talking about him anymore(besides his ex band members)in that way, "That mountain top situation is not really what it's all cracked up 2 B when  was doing the Purple Rain tour had a lot of people who knew 'll never c again @ the concerts.just screamin n places they thought they was suppose 2 scream." |

Van brought things into Prince's worlld that proved not too cool. He has to mention Prince to keep some people thinking well and notto question. . Much respect to all opinions I just donot buy into celebs that way especially the associations and some people with the most tears are te most guilty.

Exactly! He is still wearing it over TWO YEARS later and has joined forces with Prince's other business partner that Prince gave ALL his music to JAY-Z. By joining his management team.
It's only obvious why most of Prince's fans aren't accepting both of them. But I won't go there. I thought that was very touching and sweet of Van. You can tell that he and Prince were really good friends. I notice Van loves wearing the purple ties too! Love is God, God is love, girls and boys love God above~
