Ah. At least she was sweet about it! I thought it sounded like an idea of his as well which was why I decided against it. Did she remember that she talked with you?

I didn't see an interview with her from the Carver Co. investigation documents. Live 4 Love ~ Love is God, God is love, Girls and boys love God above

Yes. She spoke as if he had discussed the idea of the PAAM shows with her at some point. She said that he wasn't sure about it because it was something that he had never done before and she said that she had encouraged him to do it because she felt that people should get the opportunity to see him perform as she had, when it was just him.She also said that she was sad that she didn't get to see the first shows at Paisley Park.

The breeze she left when she walked away from me was colder than a Minneapolis below zero winter. I'll take that as a yes.

I don't believe that she was interviewed. She seemed to be pretty far removed from the situation by then. I know that they spoke with Crystal and Mariah who were around when Andy was though so it could be that she declined. [Edited 5/19/18 9:22am]

Terms like “comorbidity factor” sound intelligent but are better left in the realm of describing strictly physical illnesses. Addiction IS a “mental” illness. (of sorts) In other words, it’s a “thinking” problem. Once the thinking of a (sober) addict straightens out, meaning they think and view things sanely and are at peace, psychiatric medications fall away. Many addicts think they are textbook “mentally ill” and go down a very long, futile road of medications, therapy and doctor-reliance, when they really need to run in another direction. Wow. So deep ladies. Love 2 u both.

Well I very much appreciate you trying to set the record straight angel. Thank you. It is nice to know Prince was trying to heal.

I have not read or heard anything to suggest that she declined to be interviewed by the authorities. If anything, they probably did not contact her. It seems, to me, that they left a LOT of stones unturned.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
They really did.Since they asked Judith who his past girlfriends were, it looks like they would have wanted to contact them, though I could see Bria declining to speak to them as well.No one, including the media has asked Andy any personal questions about Prince and I don't believe she was asked when she last spoke with him either like the other associates have. Unless she was asked that during her interview for the documentary and they cut it out. [Edited 5/22/18 21:26pm]

Again, there is a very good possibility that they were not contacted. I was stunned that even his bodyguard Chris Gaithers was only interviewed because he initiated contact with the authorities. They thanked him for calling them and explained, to my astonishment, that they had no way of reaching anyone unless someone provided their contact information? I remember they even asked him if he knew how to reach Judith Hill and Kiran. He said that he would try to track down their numbers. I don't recall them asking about Andy or Bria.

I was surprised by that too. It's very possible that they weren't contacted. Andy has never spoken about anything pertaining to the investigation or his passing that I know of. She said very little even in the documentary.

I’m slowly catching up here. Thanks ladies for sharing. I wouldn’t know anything About his ladies post 1988/89 if not for the org. I didn’t start my “Prince’s Ladies” (1990- R.I.P.) 101 education till I joined the org frankly. You guys should write a guide book!! Thanks for catching me up! I recall being at the Tribute in October 2016 and I was blown away by a woman in Gold dress, I didn’t know it was JH at the time. And sadly I think that it was probably the mood swings due to the addiction that Triggered Andy away. No one really minds a happy drunk so to speak. Sigh.

Judith gave an amazing performance at the Tribute! Great that you got to see it live. I wonder as well if he may have been having mood swings during his time with Andy and that was her reason for leaving. His business affairs manager Crystal said that he was having mood swings during her time with him but she also said that there was a time that he was completely sober. She said that he started using the drugs again before she left in 2014/15 and that was her reason for not working for him anymore.

Yes pink her performance and mayte’s instrumental belly dance left me choked up I felt they were that powerful. That said when I saw Andy at the Dakota several Months later her inability to speak at all about him was just as profound. I felt Behind that iron clad smile was a mess of tears. Bless them all.

I can imagine that was very powerful to see both performances live. I found them to be very moving just watching them online. I watched a recording of Andy's second show at the Dakota and she seemed to be pretty emotional that night. Yes,love to all of his associates.

I'm sure they were. Not many women around Prince who he wasn't intimate with. Especially the young ones.

It's a LOT of ways to be intimate. "That mountain top situation is not really what it's all cracked up 2 B when was doing the Purple Rain tour had a lot of people who knew 'll never c again @ the concerts.just screamin n places they thought they was suppose 2 scream."

That's very true ChocolateBox3121. Andy has always said that her fondest memories of their time together was of them sitting around and playing their acoustic guitars and harmonizing.
