I was disappointed to read that as well.She was so beautiful with the fro! Her hair looked rather flat and kind of dry in her recent photos.

I just saw on twitter that Andy has pulled out of the Tribute shows in Australia.Whoever runs the Nothing Compares 2 Prince social media pages doesn't seem happy with her decision.They posted that she "elected to abandon the tribute shows" days before the rehearsals in Minnesota.They also said that they tried to convince her to change her mind but that it was to avail and that she has decided to focus on her acting career.I figured with all of the traveling she's been doing that she might have decided not to go.

Nice things she said about Prince. I wonder why she pulled out. maybe she is still mourning and not ready to jump into "celebration" mode yet even though she would probably like to. Or maybe shejust had other committments. Who knows? I wish I understood people's motives a bit better in the Purple Army.

I think she is still reeling over Prince's passing. She puts on a brave front with her big, bright smile, but her eyes are still sad...in spite of all her recent successes. Also, her decision to pull out might have something to do with all the negative comments on the Org about the various tributes. Quite honestly, I was very surprised when I read that she was a part of the line-up, to begin with.

I agree.I think she probably did not want to go back to Minnesota.She was not happy about having to perform there last year with Morgan James from what Dr Funk said in a podcast last year.Her brother also flew in to be with her so she seemed to be having a hard time still at that point.

Am I being petty to find it ironic that Paul Peterson is the musical director and now has to deal with a young up and coming talent who bailed on him and his hard work (possibly due to other pursuits -- but maybe not.) . Its not the same thing but I find it strangely parallel.

The show will go on, but she will surely be missed. If this article was any indication, she was a pretty big draw. And, although her name was not mentioned in the article, this photo of her and Prince was front and center.

There were lots of positive comments on the Org about the tributes. Why would you think Andy Allo is reading comments on the Org? What about other social media where others have negative comments about tributes? She may have found out information about the pilot she was in as well.She said in February that she probably wouldn't know until May.She seemed to be looking forward to it so something about her schedule may have changed.

Nope! Missed that one.I was in the hospital during that time.I saw evidence of it with a google search but the thread was deleted.I did participate in Latin's nice thread that was dedicated to their collaborations and relationship until I went in at the end of November.I missed a lot those two months.I do remember Fly making a photographic tribute thread early last year.

Yes,but that was on her tour with Morgan James who had scheduled the tour months in advance.They just happened to be there during the time of the tribute.Dr Funk mentioned in a podcast that she was going to be there at the same time and said "I don't know how Andy's gonna feel about that."suggesting that he knew that she didn't want to go to Minnesota.It looked like she was going to back out then as well a few days before and her brother flew in to be with her.She did say in a FB Q&A last May that she didn't know if she would ever go back to Paisley because it's so different now.

Exactly. I have learned that when it comes to Prince, speculation will NEVER give you the facts. Prince was not soneo e you could guess about based on appearances.

The point is that Prince and Andy threads didn't begin with me and pink. There were many while Prince was still alive. When he had problems with threads on the Org, he was known to have them pulled. He did no such thing with the Prince and Andy threads. To me, that means he had no problem with them, unlike you and the "army of haters" here on the Org.

BTW: I'd venture to say that probably at least 75% of the threads and/or posts on the Org are "speculative."

I just saw on NC2P's FB they removed Andy from the photo in their latest video.Looks kind of funny with out her.They did show a photo of him with her behind him in silhouette.She still hasn't mentioned anything about the cancellation yet.Liv is her replacement.

Several fans were tweeting to him quite a bit about Andy in 2015 and sending him photos after his tweets concerning her various projects.He probably saw those.I think some thought they might have still been dating.He probably was too busy back then to read message boards.
