For clarification purposes, Sarah Pina was chosen by the organizers of the symposium to present “‘Tears go here, tears go there’: Mayte Garcia’s The Most Beautiful: My Life With Prince and US Latina authorship”.

I hope she doesn’t”t start talking about being soulmates with Prince. She disproved that once and for all hanging with the Kardashians. No More Haters on the Internet.

Penny, if something comes up and you find you can get there, I'll encourage you by saying that the trip from Missouri is not that bad. My trip from STL is about two hours longer b/c I have to get over to I-35, but coming from KC, your're already there.
I realize extended car travel may be a challenge for your husband (I've been rear-ended three times, so my cervical spine can sympathize), but maybe you guys can get there.
Just offering some words of encouragement

I would ask her: Why did you spend so much time in Spain from 1998-2000 given the principle of 's top woman always being in Minneapolis? . Can you provide a comprehensive list of all of the songs that Prince/ told you that he wrote for/about you and Amiir? Can you confirm that the song "Until U're in My Arms Again" is about Amiir? . Did Prince know that you were writing a book, and if so, did he ever express how he felt about it? . Did you have a bridal shower? . Did you have a baby shower for Amiir? . What was Amiir's full name? . Can you provide more details on how your husband was able to convince your OBGYN to sell him the heart monitor? (I love this story and would love to know additional details.) . Did you ever meet Prince's mother? . Did you and ever attend church together? How did it come to be that you were married at a Methodist church when, as I understand it, neither of you were Methodist? ....... These are some questions that I wonder, but probably would not ask her due to the sensitive nature of the questions. . Did you and your husband ever second-guess or regret the decision to remove life support from Amiir instead of going forward with the tracheostomy (creating an alternative airway)? (I am a special education teacher and in my current job working in preschool early intervention, I conduct along with other professionals evaluations of children with a variety of suspected delays and disabilities and write IEP goals for those children who are eligible for early intervention services. My department has a medically fragile team that evaluates and writes IEPs for children who are medically fragile.) My reason for wondering about this issue has to do with my professional background and from reading a number of medical publications regarding outcomes for children who are born with Pfeiffer Syndrome Type 2. From reading these articles, a tracheostomy is essential for a child with Pfeiffer Syndrome Type 2 to have any chance of survival outside of a hospital. . I have heard that bought thousands of dollars of medical equipment for Amiir. Can you confirm that he did this? . Do you have any photos of your son? . How did your husband believe that Amiir would come back? [Edited 4/15/18 17:37pm] Live 4 Love ~ Love is God, God is love, Girls and boys love God above

She talked about his mother at one of her book signings last year.

Were there any hard questions asked, and did she answer them? Hard questions? I wouldn’t say so. Most of the questions were light. She was funny. She told a funny story of her mother coming in town and Prince wanted to take her mother bowling. He thought for sure he was going to beat her mother in bowling but he didn’t. She said her mother pulled out her bowling gloves to Prince’s surprise. After her mother won, he said he didn’t want to play with her anymore.
