The opening credits of the movie do say "And Introducing Kristin Scott Thomas". smile

It being her first film isn't anything interesting about Prince. Anytime you get your first role, it's just serendipity. She took the role because he was still the hottest thing at the time. However, she also had great reservations as filming went on, fearing it would end her career before it started. Let's not forget that Terence Stamp left production early, saying it wasn't for him. That is when Berkoff stepped in, and really gave all he could, making Isaac a total asshole.

Nice article. She is a great actress and it is so cool that they stayed in touch over the years! Her very first movie and so awesome they got along so well. I just absolutely love UTCM!!
