Appears they do.There doesn't seem to have been much news about them lately but I haven't been on social media much and may have missed something.I think I would like the idea of the group more if they performed original songs though maybe that's in the works.I follow Adrian on sm and I haven't seen him post anything about the group recently and Marcus hasn't either. |

So apparently Josh Dunham was photoshopped in place of Jason Tenner in this photo. Hmm... Paisley Park is in your heart

From the caption underneath the lead photo of this news article about the Capri Theater (that NPS is renting out for reheasals for their SB week concert), Sue Ann Carwell replaced Jason Tenner.

That's their drummer, Domonique. She's actually English, she's from London. Great drummer and cool person.
When Omarr was here for the O2 exhibition launch, she was with him, so I hung out with both of them there. Omarr actually played me one of the songs from the album, and it wasn't one with Jason on it, so he's not on all of the songs. I did tell him that all of the backlash they were getting was because of Jason, and nothing to do with the other bandmembers or the project itself. I wonder if they've made changes. The actual music, from what I heard, was great in terms of the performances. It's just that no fans are interested in listening to an impersonator!
We'll see what happens. I think their hearts are in the right place and there's some phenomenal musicians in the group - it's just that they made a fatal flaw in selecting a frontman. Better off to do what The NPG are doing with people like Andre and Kip Blackshire, or The Revolution splitting up vocal parts and bringing in some guest singers.

Thanks! Yeah,I agree that the backlash was because of the idea of an impersonator not the group itself.Cool that you got to hear one the songs.I think the project sounds promising if done right. |

Based off the horrific photoshop posted earlier in this thread it seems NPS did indeed make changes and decided to cut Tenner out the picture entirely (quite literally in fact ). Plus it seems Tenner isn't in Minneapolis with the band, at least as far as I've heard. Today the Capri Theater (where NPS has been rehearsing and where Sue Ann Carwell was seen with the band) sent out a call for extras for a NPS video, interesting to see how the band is presented in terms of members. I hope they remain a self-contained band and don't go the "guest vocalist" route, especially if they plan to transition to doing more original material.
