Spike TV (channel 31) in the UK are currently showing series 2 of Knight Rider. On Thursday 25th Jan Apollonia appears in an episode titled 'Mouth of the Snake'. She did this before she did Purple Rain so she was still kown as Patti Kotero. It's on 5pm- 6pm.

The episode is now on Friday 26 Jan, instead of Thursday.

Actually, your timeline is off. That episode of Knight Rider aired April 8, 1984, weeks before the color purple forever changed the world. But it was the day after the Purple Rain Tour ended in Miami.

Most shows are filmed just 2-3 months before they air, maybe 4-5, which would put it almost directly after filming for Purple Rain. That's assuming they started filming again right after the holiday break and filmed episodes starting in January 1984 to air soon after. It's feasible that she possibly bounced to the set of Knight Rider in between any dates she showed up for during the PR tour.

I was actually addressing you saying when she probably did the show, before Purple Rain. My note, if you read it, was indicating she did it at the same time she was doing or finishing up Purple Rain.

before doing Purple Rain,Apollonia (Patty Kotero) also appeared in a few music videos....Ray Parker's "The Other Woman" from 1982,and Eddie Money's "Shakin" video,also from 1982.

I was so disappointed that this was a non speaking role for Apollonia. Her name appears in the opening credits so I was expecting her to have a bigger role. The episode was in two parts and she only had 3 very brief scenes.

Yes, it's a shame Falcon Crest is not available to buy on DVD. Apollonia appeared for 10 episodes on season 5 in 1985. It was her next acting job after P Rain. She sang 2 songs on the show - Red Light Romeo and Look into the fire in my eyes.
