I actually liked her version of Our Destiny in 3rd place to Lisa Coleman and then Prince. . I sometimes wonder if Jill would have done a little too much, if she had Sugar Walls. . And All Day, All Night (Prince/Jill co-leads) would have been hot . But yeah those 7 could have been a hot JJ 1984 release Is there a song with more rock from then that she could have done?
“Mia Bocca” was originally recorded in 1982 so it could have been included as well.At that stage,it didn’t have the Clare Fischer orchestration but that’s OK.A Jill Jones album released in 1984 (or early 85) would have had the true Minneapolis Sound, anyway (synth heavy). That's a pretty impressive lineup of songs you guys came up with for JJ. Which makes me wonder even harder why Prince did work a little harder to push Jill as a solo artist. He put money & time into so many but Jill, not as much. Is there something obvious we are overlooking?

Loved this album and Jill as an artist until she became the crazy cyber bitch she is now. Someone needs some therapy to prevent all that vile she spews all over social media. Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.

I like her album a lot. The songs are great, the Clare Fisher contributions add a lot to the music, and the album cover art looks great, especially her outfit and the font and the photo in general and the Mia Bocca video is one of my favorite Prince related videos. Too bad it was released so late. This could have been a huge hit. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"
