From the records I read I thought M2 didnt respond to the Estate's Opposition?

I'll take it nobody knows. She files to get possession of the trademark, Comerica finds out or is informed, they file a suit, she doesn't do anything to oppose it, they drop it, the register office drops it, and the trademark is...what? Still hanging out there?

Hopefully the estate and family know about the new trademark application by IAPW that was published on December 5, 2017. They have 30 days to oppose. All his trademarks are his intellectual property, even the ones that were abandoned, and I would think that unless the estate is going to use them, they would be permanently retired by the trademark office and NO ONE could use. JMO

Well, I went to those links and the dates on those links vs. the dates that are being said in this thread not the same. Seems to me somebody has access to more information but is keeping it to themselves for some reason.

NVM, I see the Dec17 date actually came from this (Results as of 12/05/2017 03:05 PM) as opposed to the last time papers had actually been filed. So it's basically back a square on, she touched it, they popped her fingers, she let it go, they left her alone. It's where it was.

I did, that's how I found this. That serial # says L4OA is cancelled but this one says L4OA is active as of July, 2017. So after poking around I see this is the business address. See, now that L says about 20-30 people knew of Prince's plans I have to ask, was she one of those people? It's obvious the Estate Admin knew she did this, and they went into action to stop it and then stopped. Did the family tell Comerica to stop?

I’m not sure but I did find another filing for #give100 applied for on 4/20/2016 the day before he passed!!!! Did she know he was not going to make it? The color Purple is claimed as a feature of the trademark. The first time she used that hashtag was on his 2016 bday. Just does not sit right with me what she is doing under the radar 👎👎👎

Oh. Hmmm. Well, if she already owed L4OA, then she didn't just run up and take it right after he passed. Not sure. Maybe the 4/20 date is a coincidence, sometimes weird crap happens. Definitely a big question mark.

Last year when I researced this I was able to find the IRS Form 990-PF for years 2001, and 2005-2007. All the filings had Prince as Director and Kirk as President.
