Fine, I will agree with you that this debate would be better suited for the politics and religion forum SNIP - OF4$ Please, and thank you. It's blatantly obvious that the majority here on Prince.org are Obama loving, Trump hating liberals, which is odd considering Prince always leaned more conservative in his beliefs, especially after he became a Jehovah's Witness. The one political campaign he donated to was a Republican senator from Minnesota in 1990. After he became a Jehovah's Witness he criticized both Republicans and Democrats.

.

So here’s how it is: you’ve got the Republicans, and basically they want to live according to this.” He pointed to a Bible. “But there’s the problem of interpretation, and you’ve got some churches, some people, basically doing things and saying it comes from here, but it doesn’t. And then on the opposite end of the spectrum you’ve got blue, you’ve got the Democrats, and they’re, like, ‘You can do whatever you want.’ Gay marriage, whatever. But neither of them is right.” - Prince

.

When asked about his perspective on social issues—gay marriage, abortion—Prince tapped his Bible and said, “God came to earth and saw people sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever, and he just cleared it all out. He was, like, ‘Enough. - Prince

.

He wasn't for Obama either. On the Tavis Smiley show, speaking about the election of Barack Obama, Prince said: "I don't vote and I got nothing to do with it. I have no dog in that race."

.

Jehovah's Witness = conservative, NOT liberal!

Now mind you, you shouldn't take my feelings about him personally, simply because I didn't come for you over your own words about him. And Prince was fully entitled to have his feelings re political things but prince.org isn't where I come to discuss politics.

Still off-topic so I won't continue responding. But again, thank you for moving this where it belongs. Appreciate that.

I assume Van was working WITH Prince more than for him, but we don't know whether Van also charged for his services... depending on what Prince wanted to do.

.

It seems a lot of what Van was doing, Prince didn't want to be public knowledge, so that's why we didn't hear much about him before prince died.

what was his job?

He said he found charities for Prince to donate to. He appears to have been the man that vetted these organizations. He also worked with Prince to get Yes We Can Code and Green Jobs For All off the ground with Prince's seed money.

He introduced Prince to Pheadra and the other attorney who worked on the Tidal deal.

http://time.com/2901198/c...yeswecode/

See below.

https://www.yeswecode.org/

They even give out free Scholarships to learn coding.

https://www.theironyard.com/locations/washington-dc

He did good with this idea and I think more people should know about it. Dude was more then some guy that died from a drug overdose.

Interesting, let's see, the definition of racism is a person who shows or feels discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or who believes that a particular race is superior to another. No, sorry, it doesn't sound like me at all. White parent + black parent = mulatto child, NOT a black child. I know this because I'm white and the mother of my son is black. Also, believing someone should be hanged for high treason against this country, NOT because of their race, is also NOT racist. Anyway, thanks for your uninformed, emotion-driven character assassination of me. I appreciate it. Do you also think that white bread is racist if it isn't toasted, as well? Just sayin'.

Of course, you think that way, because you are obviously a leftist yourself. I'm not. A new report from Harvard Kennedy School’s Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy analyzed news coverage of President Trump’s first 100 days in office. CNN's Trump coverage was 93% negative and 7% positive, MSNBC's Trump coverage was also 93% negative and 7% positive, Fox New's Trump coverage was 52% negative and 48% positive. These numbers not only reflect the extreme leftist bias of CNN and MSNBC, but they also show that Fox News is the only one being fair and balanced. They also firmly prove you wrong.

Again, black parent + white parent = mulatto child, NOT a black child. Again, not legal, “born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.” Also, since you're an Obama loving liberal, you want to try and romanticize Prince and Obama together but I'll remind you that when Prince was on the Tavis Smiley show speaking of the election of President Barack Obama, Prince said, "I don't vote and I got nothing to do with it. I have no dog in that race." Prince went on to explain that he doesn't vote because he is a Jehovah's Witness, and that "prophecy is what we all have to go by now." Prince was already scheduled to play a show in D.C. the following night anyway and being that Obama is a big Prince fan, he thought about doing something around it." At the daily White House press briefing two days later, press secretary Josh Earnest called it "a non-public event that occurred at the White House" and added, "Given the private nature of the event, I don't have a lot of details to discuss from here." However, he did confirm that the Obamas personally paid for the event. In other words, it was a gig($), no more, no less.

Laura, you have been accused by other people on Prince.org as being anti-white. Some have even said that you hate white people. Is that true? Is that why you want to ignore the fact that Obama is half white?
