I do not like Susannah but even she did not play game on Prince like his wives did. Vanity was not in a relationship with Prince attempting to look like either wife and she also did not go after an established icon. Susannah and Vanity for whatever flaws did not aim for him w/ agenda in mind.

It does not really matter does it? Prince married 2 women who in retrospect was a total waste of his time.

The inclusion of photos of M2 in Prince: A Private View was the only part of the book I did not like; however, in fairness to Afshin, I just had to accept that Prince married her. Thus, she was a part of his life. It should be noted that Steve Parke included M1 in his book. I am very hopeful that should Afshin author future Prince photographic biographies, we will not be subjected to M2.

What game did Mayte play on him? The marriage was his idea, not hers, he was the one that cheated first, not her.

As for Mani, I don't know much about her, that's why I won't comment on that subject.

Thank you for asking this. You beat me to it. I am sure I would have gotten crap too and I'm way oldet than 15. I personally checked out around this time, due to the JW dogma.

I learned everything I need to know now. Enjoy all that surrounds Prince. The Org can definately be good and bad.

Well he did an interview with Dr. Funkenberry were he said those were the pics he had and he thougt

they were good pics. He said he always saw it as a loving relationship.

Regardless of how fans feel about the inclusion of M1 or M2 in Steve Parke´s or Afshin Shahidi´s book, it is perfectly understandable that they would use pictures of them because those were the most important women in Prince´s life at the time that those photographers worked with Prince. They captured the spirit of those respective eras.

Yes the pictures are nice, but as far as the OP's question about her, the only person who can redeem Manuela Testolini in my eyes is Manuela Testolini. I have yet to have seen an honest, TRULY unselfish act from her yet. Volunteering in social causes feels really good to the ego and makes others see us as nice, but that's not it.

I do not think Manuela needs to be redeemed. She is no longer married to Prince and per what was publicly shared she made out just fine with money. He had to make sure he paid her. That is how she wanted things .She left with no kids from him and wanted to be paid. She got paid. There is nothing that can change that. Yes we all evolve and change but that is what went down.

Nothing she says will change that and that is irksome. I am glad she was able to move on and have a life and beautiful children. I do hope she never writes a book. I do not want to hear anything from her and I am not even a M1 stan.

She would never be forthcoming and no matter how many pics are posted and no matter how many people hype her at that time with him her past shades it. The divorce shades it. I do not want to hear from her. Again I find these women not to genuine.

If they wrote these books while he was living ok but something will ring untrue for me.

The Divorce stuff just makes my tummy tight. I know there are 2 sides to marriages but it hurts to think he HAD to work to pay her extensive settlement. I know I am being silly and childish but that is how I see it.
