No,this was recorded with producer Tim Simenon ("Bomb The Bass")...the same guy who produced Neneh Cherry's "Buffalo Stance" hit.

Throughout 1988/early 89,Cat and Prince were working on her solo album.That project featured songs like "Cat and Mouse","Cat Attack","9 Lives","A Man Called Jesus" and other songs.Don't know what happened,but it was never released.Cat then began working with Tim on a planned album titled I Am Energy'."Catwoman" was released as the first single in late 1989,but the album was never released.

I found this "single spotlight" where the song "Catwoman" is reviewed

"Now It Rains" is another track from Cat's 1989 'I Am Energy' album,which has never been released

I admit,the song is kinda noisy...it's hard to imagine US radio stations playing this.

For a first single,she needed a song that was more melodic and catchy.

I remember a lengthy interview with Cat from some magazine in 1989.I wish I still had it....there was lots of info about the "Catwoman" song and the planned album I Am Energy.
