love the song. Glad she started doing some of this song on her tour.
I love that is sounds like 1986. I love the piano sound (sounds like the piano in songs like Fathers Song and the movie Blade Runner) I just love that piano sound.
There is a member who said Sheila E had no singles for this album (she had 3) and this one was on the charts for a long time. | |

It think this song came out during time Sheila was touring heavily with Prince & unable to really promote her own album much. It's one of my top 5 of her songs. It shows she can do soft sensual ballads as well as fast percussion driven songs. I didn't know she even did this song live anymore. There is a member who said Sheila E had no singles for this album (she had 3) and this one was on the charts for a long time. - I was wrong about her not having singles beyond “ Hold Me” and I admitted it however you did not bother to read her book so you do not know that she really did not plan doing much to promote this album. She wanted to get back behind her drums and was interested in this album. You realize that artist often have a contractual obligation to promote their albums. | |

LOVED this song. This was the slow grind with a honey at the club song. Usually played toward the end of the night, if this didn't set you up for some lovin later, your game was straight lacking. Wonderful song. | |
