Thanks for posting this, otherwise I never would have seen it. He was such a great drummer, and more than that, a genuinely nice and humble person.

I saw Cameo live in 1995 or 1996, the same tour I believe that was immortalized on the Nasty live album. It was a killer show, only too short. I guess it was John Blackwell on drums on both the show I attended and the album? Little did I know then than this drummer, whom I probably hardly noticed at the time, would becaome such an important player in the purple world...
