Looking for Blame it on Vanity owners Hi all,
Denise Matthews once said that in her book she wrote about two men only: Prince and Jesus Christ. Is anyone willing to share some more information about the part she wrote on Prince? I'm not talking copy-paste or other copyright violations, but just some info about the chapter. Does it include diary entries? Did she dedicate one or more chapters to her time with Prince? Anything would be much appreciated.

I really do not want to start another thread on the price of Blame it on Vanity, that's why I opened this thread in the first place. Mayte Garcia's book hardcover edition costs $13.50. Denise Matthew's book costs $250/$280. I'm not going to spend that much money on a book to find out she wrote hardly anything about her time with Prince.

Thanks for the tip, but I already tried. Do you happen to know the number of printed copies?

Blame It On Vanity is a short book about Denise Matthews life. It's about her struggles as an abused child, and how she lost her way in the search of fame, starting the initial journey with Prince. Most of the book is an outline of how she found her way to God. There's about a chapter of her time with Prince, spoken in vague terms. It is not an easy read as most of the time she speaks metaphorically. You'll find yourself trying to decipher more than a few paragraphs. I like to say, it's a book that makes you think. if you decide to read it, go into it knowing that you have to have the patience for it.

Her book is definitely not a tell all book. Nowhere near it. There is nothing solicitous in there about her time with Prince. Although there are a few Princely things she mentions that some might find interesting, the book is more about finding God. The last time I checked, her book was being sold through her estate for $66. That is where I got my copy. Here is the link. https://m.facebook.com/de...p;__tn__=C

Thanks luvgirl I appreciate your input: this kind of description is all I was looking for. I remember that initially the book was sold for $45. I'll check out your link and if it is true that her estate sells copies for the amount you mentioned how come blameitonvanity.com sells limited-edition copies for $250/$280? I remember she used to sell and promote her book on this website too.

I wish there was a writer out there who would publish Vanity's biography. A lot of people are interested in her life story.
