They coming as part of a concert where there's a bunch of oldschool bands and artists. It's called the OldSchool Throwback Jam. Doug E Fresh, Force M-D's, The Dazz Band and other groups are part of the concert as well. I'm mostly excited to see Morris Day and The Time (obviously)!

Will let you guys know how it went and all that stuff...I WAS thinking of leaving after Morris Day and The Time (that's how they're being billed...) performed cuz I wasn't too interested in the other people (this was before I YouTubed "Tender Love" and "Let It Whip" and I'm like "OMG...i KNEW the songs but didn't know the artist or thought that it was some other artist who sang the song") but then I thought it's THE TIME...Prince related band...they might be the last one to perform...

Sidenote - I'm so glad that the Revolution was my first associated band that I got to see after Prince passed away. My friend is going to the Throwback Jam as well and The Time will be her first associated band she gets to see after Prince passed away.

yeah,it looks like Morris and the Time are having a busy summer.I've seen many flyers like this one:

Morris looks better now than he did in the 80's & 90's. He's thinned out his big moustache so now looks cooler. All that's lacking is a best of The Time CD.

I'm going to see them Aug 27th. I've got to get a new Presley!!!! BWA-HAW!!!!!!!!!
