Well it IS brotha Dean's show...where's YOUR show where you expertly interview all of Prince's closest associates?

When it comes to "Brotha Dean" I've got five words for you - "Courtesy and chess move #game". Since you know Brother Dean so well I'm sure you'll know what I'm referring to.

Funnily enough there's a team of us working on something for the community right now, it's not a podcast though, it's bigger.

This was nice. I had no idea Wally was Vanity's bodyguard. That must have been super cool! Wally has stories, I'm sure... definitely want to check out his own Podcast when it's available. lol

He worked with so many I admire - I wanted to hear more about the Time and the Triple Threat tour along with info on the Revolution. He did not say more about why they did not want him in the band. I also wanted more about his own podcast to come. It was still a pleasure to listen to and maybe on his podcast he will talk more about the Time.

In the interview he said he is now hearing that rev weren't to pleased with him, jerome and greg being in the group. In the book possessed wendy said that the rev was a pop/rock band being to a funk band and she wasn't happy with that change.

Does anyone ever listen to Brown Mark's podcast? If so, how is it? Does he ever relay any interesting tid bits? I haven't heard much about it. It's good for the associates to have Podcasts, but it has to be mainly about their time with Prince for me to be interested.

What's wrong with funk? Besides, wasn't there funk in his pre Revolution stuff as well as his Revolution stuff?

What? His podcast is THE Prince podcast.

There's no other decent Prince podcast worth listening to.

I do enjoy the Peach & Black Podcast too, but that one is more for s and giggles.

That is totally not what was said.

She didn't say anything about it being a pop/rock band being turned into a funk band.

Sexy Dancer is Funk, and that was the song that made her a fan.

It wasn't the music.

She never said that.

I think it was something like 'an old soul revue band'

I don't understand why people are rehashing little things said out of frustration almost 30+ years ago.

I read someone bring up the 'bafoonery' comment Wendy allegedly said.

30+ years later what is the point of bringing some of this stuff up? To divide?

Wendy allegedly said that in 1986, yet in 2003

obviously they are cool. So I don't get the issue.

Why try to be stuck on something (hurt?) that happend over 30years ago

And dealing with the musical past you have to bring up things that happened 30 years ago, do you want things sugar coated?

I'm not talking about you bringing them up.
I'm talking about it happening in live time with these people.
I've heard this same thing recently or earlier this year.

Stan again, is being used incorrectly here.
You said it all wrong.

so since you are stating what she said from the book, i'll quote from the book

pg 102

"We've gone from being the Beatles to being an overblown R&B ban.

As fans we love everybody within the purple camp but we have to realize that not everyone got along and there is still animosity amongst each other.

I know what he is saying
I'm saying this was 30yrs ago

I mean we know BrownMark had a hard time with it, being placed behind them on the stage.

I thought that set up was weird too.

Did you defend Prince when people brought up things he did 30 years ago? Over and over? Are the revolution members untouchable or something?

Just asking.

right we don't fully know any of it. Even what was said in 1986, which is what you

were refering to.

But again, obviously there was no beef in 2003.

Morris probably had a problem with Prince & Jerome mocking his song Oak Tree in 1986, but they seem to be cool in 2016
