That´s a great picture.

Wasted talent is not really a flattering way to describe her.

It wasn´t her fault that she didn´t get her breakthrough.

To me she remains as one of the most important people who contributed a lot to Prince´s music and mystique.

Too bad that her album was released so late and that she was contractually bound to Paisley Park.

I think she is too and underrated at times. When I think of those years I think of Jill too - actually would like more info on the Triple Threat Time. I feel that is the time that catapulted Prince into the Purple Rain Era. The ones surrounded him during that time gave us PR.

Totally and I always think of Purple Rain as the Triple Threat Tour movie in a way; I would like a book from those folks- that tour had to be a special unique time and putting themselves in a movie was icing on the cake. Those are the ones as you said that started the mystique and it took and stayed with him throughout his career- ALL If them including Susan and Brenda too.

It would be great to have a thread for everyone to declare who they stan/shill for so we can make a spreadsheet.

People I found cool up til now aren´t that cool anymore, and people I rarely had on my radar in the past come across as very humble and genuine.

But...I´m not mentioning any names !

....but I´ve always liked Jill Jones and found her very talented and attractive.

And she still is.

And she deserves more recognition.
