Whats the 4th? 4 albums worth of material, those aren't albums per se, only Dream Factory has any kind of tracklist and half of that ended up being used later on so its unlikely to get another release unless there's serious differences (like the early version of Strange Relationship)

W and L may not be making money but who doesn't love being loved by audiences for being the band that worked with PRince at his peak. Its still exploiting. To be fair, though,Wendy and Lisa (and the other members)were,at least, somewhat involved in the creation of these songs. They were in the Purple Rain movie, too.Don't they have a right to cash in on all that? "Cash in" is a terrible phrase (lol) but you know what I mean.Purple Rain is part of their legacy, too. Why shouldn't they be able to reap the rewards of that?

Read between the lines..... if Prince was still alive would there tribute concerts, songs, tell-all books etc right now about him?......I don't think so Some are more obvious for the $$$ and shine than others. [Edited 6/26/17 19:02pm] Keep Calm & Listen To Prince

WELL, Salma Hayak called him a close friend. I wonder what position an already-famous actress is vying for. No one in the NPG (90's version) is making those statements. Morris Hayes has said some nice things, but hasn't come off corny or hyperbolic. Who are they talking about? Shelby J with her descripton of Prince being the second most important man in her life second to her father?--that might be a bit much but she has been working off and on for Prince for 10 years. Kim Berry has the right to write a book (she's known him for 30 years and has been respectful of his privacy in the past.)
Maybe they are talking about Sheila E. She might be exagerrating their closeness but they can't say he wasn't an important part of her life. Prince had a ton of proteges and mentorees (Female). Maybe, they are talking about them). But imagine if you were a young woman trying to break into the industry and a star like Prince was giving you a ton of advice and encouragement (especially since he is known for being a bit standoffish) and then Prince doesn't ask to get you in the sack (at least not in an overt way), maybe that does feel like a close friend. I mean what advantage does it give someone like Tamron Hall to say that Prince is a close friend--she is already famous (was more famous before she quite the Today Show). If they are talking about the lawyers..I see their point. But Prince approached Van Jones. Londell -- they may have a point. As for later employees posting kind fairwells to Prince. I guess people can doubt their sincerity because Prince died when they were in his circle. But we know how compartmentalized Prince was. And who knows what was going on there.''
I respect the Revolution but I don't think anyone owns the Prince narrative. Granted, opportunists will definitely jump on the bandwagon. The only reason that didn't happen as often when he was alive was because he was around to threaten legal action) . But with more people coming forward, eventually I would think a more rounded view of Prince will emerge (even if the lies and half truths have to be balanced and weeded out by folks really in the know) . A book that is exploitative (like say Kitty Kelley's book about Frank Sinatra) is just a badly written book using third hand sources. A badly written biography has usually got a pretty obvious agenda or over-simplified view of the person. There were some pretty critical books about Prince in the past--I don't imagine there are going to get much worse.

Vinyl is always going to have higher prices like that.
I suspect all the WB albums will be reissued.
