I've had dreams about him also, so I guess he was my soul mate too. .....Nah, I think that maybe she thinks about him often, especially since she was a part of his inner circle, and that's probably where the dreams come from. What is the determiing factor when it comes to which women to believe about Prince? I believe they all are telling some kind of truth but I also believe they all have their own egos and agendas to contend with. IF they don't fess up to that, then I take everything they say with a massive grain of salt. Sheila at least admits she was a diva in her day.

I still don't understand how she could not have known that Carlos was married He married his wife Deborah in 1972.Sheila's father Pete was in his band in 1977/78.With Carlos being a celebrity and all,surely his marital status was no big secret.Deborah was often backstage at his concerts,too!

You have no fucking idea who was anyone's soul mate and I find it bizarre that you think it is your job to monitor this stiuation. Sheila thinks he was her soul mate reguardless of how you feel or even how ever he felt about it. Check yourself before you try to check others no one is engaged in your games and nonsense.

Shelia would have been a teenager when Carlos got married you are making the assumption she was hanging back stage. Sheila said she knew him as a friend of her dad who sometimes came to her soccer games having met him when she 13. In her book Deborah explains exactly what happened when she found out about the affair only identifying Sheila as a Bay Area musician she was vaguely familiar with so she did see Sheila hanging around Deborah had left the road to open her restuarant. I could totally picture Sheila doing that. Not saying that it was right for him to be having an affair with her, but Sheila was aware that he was married and that she was the "other" woman. Then go into Prince's world, one had many "other" women at once.

That must have been something else to be on stage with TWO ex-boyfriends at the SAME time. She was in a league of her own with that one.

I don't know she was only 18 and Deborah did know who she was when she came to the table and in Deborah's book she was very busy with her restaurant and both her and Carlos got involved with some Guru which Deborah kind of became obssessed with and Carlos not so much. He went on the road and she ran her business he might been able to sneak around without her knowledge and he could have pulled the wool over Sheila young eyes.

It is creepy because Carlos knew her since she was 13 and Sheila had been abused as a child and so was Carlos so I believe they are both messed up and well let us not be surprised she ran into Prince who was just as bad as Carlos with his running around.
