I am glad someone stood up for his later music. UMG has a case but at the same time, I resent their lack of faith in anything post Warner BRothers recordings.

/-It is silly and short sighted they could renegotiate and still put out the post WB vault material. Prince's crap music is better than what you hear on the radio.

The estate has NPG music all they have to is directly license it to streaming services. It is a cheap manner that can be used to get the music out. People can say what they want if Prince had not put the music LLC things would be much worst.

At least the estate has a business entity that can be exploited.

Much of the later music in question predominantly has appeal for hardcore fans who have an insiatable appetite and could be catered to directly through a premium service, without really flooding the market at all.

I want to hear the ten albums Prince recorded between 2010-14 now, plus the few hundred new songs he recorded with 3RDEYEGIRL. But the general public?

That is why they should put it out on a streaming site. I am not sure any company would be interested in it.

Yes, this is why also any performances that any formation of the NPG live should focus on 1997-2010 music. Continually performing 1980 hits, doesn't help that part of the Legacy.

I'm with Morris here 4 sure. Universal should take that 1997-2015 catalogue of music and help release it.

On the thread 'Milking' Thread, Universal would be the real milkers.
