So...A Love Bizarre Part 2 sounds different from A Love Bizarre extended

I remember a lot more screaming from Prince on the 7" Part 2 of A Love Bizarre that I don't hear on the extended version on Youtube.

They recorded more than 1 version, hunh?

I reckon I'll have to get the 7-inch version to get the best version, or at least the one I remember.

Anybody else get confused by the switch up?

Part II is an edited portion of the full-length 12:18 track. Even if you put Part I and II together, it still only clocks just over 7-minutes. That's 5 shorter than the album version. So it's just sections of that which made up part II on the single.

As a note, there is a European and a UK single which has Part I and II combined for a 7:36 track (as one song) on it, instead of the album version. It was listed as "Part I and II". I suppose Part I and II together there could be considered an album edit, since it's not really a proper remix.

The best version, in my opinion, is the full-length album version. It's a wonderland of sound and just making music.
