Yes, I like Gayle's version as well. I will have to go back and re-watch Mayte and see what I think. I do love the song, though. | |

The original version was by Prince's band The Rebels with Gayle Chapman on lead vocals. Mica Paris also recorded it and released it as a single. | |

Very cool - thank you. Love Prince's version of this song, and Mica Paris did a nice job as well. Mayte isn't a strong enough singer to pull it off well, IMHO.
