Jon Bream doesn't seem to pay attention to details, but maybe she's answered some of the questions people have been wanting clarified about what she wrote in the book.

Funny how mayte says prince was 'more open' when he was with her as if he was giving interviews about his reaction to amir's death and his painkiller usage. Being 'open' & sociable like prince tried to be in 96 is miles away from revealing intimate details from a marriage. This is my only problem with mayte. She keeps up this poor victimized image and defends herself with ridiculous comments ('prince would hug me' ... hello??? We've all seen prince trip over far less). I've always had a soft spot for mayte and no I don't think she's evil or anything like that. I just wish she'd be more honest. If mayte said, 'he was my husband and it's my right to talk about our bad times regardless what prince or anyone else says' I would respect her more because YES SHE DOES HAVE THE RIGHT. Thank you if she were honest about needing money and exercising her right to free speech I would give her less crap.

Now she wants to write another book about what the songs were really about as if we need her interpretation of the songs. She is going to drag this out as long as she can and it is getting more ridculous by the day. I also think the only good thing is she is a boring interview and I doubt she gets much press with another book.

I don't have my book right now because I loaned it out, but I thought she did write about it?..or maybe that was the phone call, she wrote about?? Either way there is a lot of things that happened that is not in the book.

Why did she not put it in the book them? That would have at least given him a voice make him look like he has some remorse for how things went south.

You know people will pay more attention to what is in the book then what she has to say in a interview. She has to know that. These interviews are too little and too late.

To be fair, she didn't put a lot of what went down in the book. She could've told everything. It doesn't make a difference, because you would still be unhappy either way. She's damned if she does and damned if she don't, with you.
