I can't wait to hear the entire EP. I love "One Step Closer." I have not read this or heard any official announcement, but I read somewhere on social media that she dedicated the EP to Prince. If that's true, I would not be surprised.

Did she? That's sweet, I did not know. It's obvious listening to the lyrics that they shared a great love at least for a year as she mentions their one year anniversary. I especially love this first song 'Shake your Memory'

Going to see ANDY tonight in concert, cannot wait. She is openng for MORGAN JAMES whom Prince also gave props to on her cover of "Call My Name" which blew her away when he did, she also has a new record out this week "Reckless Abandon"

When I first heard her sing a snippet of this song on one of her Music Monday shows, I had the same thoughts; however, the song was then incomplete. Her reference to a "raspberry beret" in the EP track made me rethink that. The "power ranger backpack" lyric might just be to cause misdirection. Or...for all we know, P might have had a power ranger backpack (or it might even be some private joke between them). LOL. One thing is certain: one mention of a "raspberry beret," anywhere in the world, and Prince immediately comes to mind.

I thought we were past this stage. Andy and Prince didn't need to issue press releases announcing their love. Anyone with eyes and ears, and who is not in denial, can see that P and AA were madly in love.

I've seen her play them on her "Music Mondays" on facebook, I'll be picking it up when I see her next week on tour in Michigan

It's a great EP. Saw Andy the other night as she is opening for Morgan James this month on her tour of the east coast, and she is super and really genuine. Got a chance to meet with her after the show, they had her working the merch table herself! I gave her a hand with taking some photos with people and she was like "you're my photographer now" but just a great talented woman just doing her own thing. She joined Morgan on stage for her last song prior to encore and it was right after she did her cover of "Call My Name" which is amazing and that PRINCE dug big time! But they had PRINCE's picture up on the screen at the end on the screen and andy came out while that was up. The whole night was a PRINCE vibe because Morgans band is so tight! and she had a kick ass horn section.
