Superconductor--first time song review Just listened to this for the first time and was prepared to like it due to good reviews. I don't like it. Juvenile lyrics, chopped up Prince tidbits musically, and it just doesn't flow. I'm really disappointed. Not speaking on the whole album. But, so far, Prince's work with Andy Allo on a song like "Time" on his own album is far superior. As a matter of fact, I like Andy's own work on her own album "Fresh" before she met Prince better than this song. Just sounds like another case of Prince trying to re-make a medicore female protegee in his own image once again... Meanwhile, I did enjoy it.....not the best protege album, Mavis Staples, The Time, Judith Hill, Jill Jones and The Family to start a list but overall I do enjoy it. Went into it full of doubts so perhaps that's the difference, our levels of expectation were different The right to free discussion is protected!!

I like it a lot, particularly the ballads.

Lol. I obviously like the album, listened to it a lot when it came out. She hasn't got a strong voice so songs like Superconductor sound strained. She sounds good with the acoustic ballads, though. I actually don't like her pre and post Prince work, too generic imo. ...every night another symphony...
