Yes a beautiful shot but let's give credit to the guy who shot it! He posted it today and some Vanity fans stole it without giving him credit. Here is his page. I don't have instagram but maybe someone here who has it can ask him if he has more outtakes?

Look up the link shared in the above post- the photographer confirms it is Vanity.

She was a was a trailblazer; she was an artist so really did create memorable looks/costumes/wardrobes.

--I think he is telling a tall tale. I have this album it is not her also why on Gods green earth would she be working as a model in 83-84. According to Jill Jones she was getting offers from all over the world.

Cameo's Alligator Woman album was released in early 1982.....several months before the Vanity 6 album was released.So it's possible that she was doing modeling gigs before she offcially became "Vanity".

If you look at that women's face and take a look at Vanity that is not the same women.

She was also running around with Prince when he was on the Controversy tour according to Dez Dickerson. So when would she had been modeling in time for this album to come out.

So what? She also attended an award show with Rick James in early 1982.My point is,she was clearly seeing more than one guy.She clearly had connections and ways to find modeling gigs.

That is not her face and from what was stated about her and Prince she dropped all outside work once she met him at his request.
