Jill JOnes stated that her facebook had been hacked. Is it possible she didn't do anything other than post a picture with those ladies?

If that's true than that is beyond shady on Mani's part. I thought in Mayte's books she said very nice things about Manueala (after claiming she stole her husband = which she did)

I wouldn't necessarily say she said good things about mani in her book, she basically called her a mistress...not a good look

Yes, she did (because she was) but at the end she talked about what a beautiful woman she was and how she had two great daughters ... anyway, she seems , imo, to give Manuela way more leeway than I would give her...

Really? Come on. Mayte has all the power. YOu can't be bullied by people hanging out with people on line while you spil the beans about a deceased husband and garner a great deal of sympathy by the public. Throwing a little bit of shade her way (in subtle ways) ain't really bullying. Mayte is not a baby.

I dont even really dislike Mayte. However, I do think she is probably more flawed than she makes out. She has a bit of martyr syndrome going on and the timing of her book is despicable. I hope its motivated by money because otherwise it is just mean.

I don't think that's true. I don't like Manuela but I don't think it's right for all these girls to take on a wolf-pack mentality and hate hard on just one. I would still think it's wrong.

but that is her business, I mean it is not going to tip the economy right? There should not have been an issue with any other associate artist, I just don't think there needed to be an issue, with so much going on in the world. It is a take it or leave it thing...

It was talked about a few times here, Wendy did not say she wrote Purple Rain, and I have Chicago soundbite radio interview where she talks about the collaboration effort, and Prince completed it.

But this thing here, if this is all true, is really um triste

She said she was hacked. I can't find proof she followed it. If she is following it, then she must be pretty pissed. The truth is always in the grey area. I don't buy that Mayte is as bad as that boycottMayte site makes her out to be. (I have looked at it--some of it makes sense, some of it is ridiculous and petty.) LIke I said, I think she loved P, but has a bit of a maryr syndrome, wants to make some money and has her own flaws she won't go into. I am not sure she had ill intent (but she is probably just as self serving as many folks around prince were.) Jill is probably self serving too but she probably is also quite protective of Prince and dislikes passive aggressiveness and what she sees as insincerity or sanctimonous stuff. None of these people are perfect (Mayte included). Prince certainly wasn't.
