If your're not interested in answering the question OFFS, then I'll take a shot:

1. Strange Relationship 1982 demo Not circulating. Who knows?

2. Strange Relationshp/International Lover/Do Me Baby/Wednesay Prince on piano playing with lyrics Basically the entire song. All the chords, the riffs, the changes. Most of the lyrics.

3. Strange Relationship @ 45:13min [Billy's Sunglasses] 51:08min 1984 band rehearsal -rock expression Prince plays the chords to a drum beat. Has to call out EACH AND EVERY chord change to the band. They obviously don't know the song. Lisa plays some synth chords once she's learned the song. Wendy doesn't seem to play at all (in fact she's reprimanded. For playing with a baseball bat?)

4a. Strange Relationship 1985 4.7.1985 Purple Rain tour soundcheck The band has (almost) learned the song. Prince still has to call out the brigde. Prince leads the band from his electric piano. Wendy doesn't make any major mistakes playing along (You go Wendy!)

4b. Strange Relationship 1985 Not sure what that refers to? The interview? Prince says a lot of things. He wanted to make W&L stars. Doesn't mean anything really.

5a. Strange Relationship 1986 -Dream Factory W&L records some instrumentation for SR. We can have different opinions about the merit of their contribution. I think it sucks. They add some hippyish instrumentation (sitar and percussion) that sounds as if they're stuck in the sound of Around The World in a Day. Late to the party. Totally inappropriateto the lyrics.

5b. Strange Relationship 1986 -Camille. Prince is moving forward.Always reaching out for something new. He removes (most of) W&L's instrumentation.

5c. Eric Leads adds a sax part, but Prince removes it Not circulating. Did not end up on the album.

6. Strange Relationship 1987 -Sign o the Time official release

So what does this say about "Wendy & Lisa's contrabution as well as the full bands input in sessions prior to the addition of the sitar, flute, congas etc isn't the first level of contrabution." which according to you "started in 1983."?

It clearly shows that W is taking to much credit. And this is the song that she has the most right to take credit for on SOTT as they she actually worked on the song at one point. But now she's taking credit for "a lot of stuff" on SOTT. Whatever that means. It's time to call her bluff.

Musically the DF version is much more rich and keeps my attention in the long run.

What do you think the band's input was judging from the records and boots you mentioned?

It's a trap.

Do they really care about your personal opinion and thoughts, or are they interested in pushing their agenda that Prince lived in a creative vacuum without any influence or involvement of other people? TUNE IN TO FIND OUT!

the purpose of the 'timeline' was to show the involvement of the band(members)

Not know the full story of what happened with any song, we can never fully know.
How many people to this day still say "Prince did everything" on the Time albums?

Yet we know that is just not true.
What I'm talking about is the environment that helped the energy of art creation.

.

Up to this point people not knowing how Raspberry Beret came about, did not know that tidbit Prince talked about on the Piano & Mic tour.

.

Jesse Johnson and other Time members have talked about studio rehearsals where they did a lot of music, and Prince as well sat in on these rehearsals, and of course everything was recorded/videoed.
From Morris Day to Lisa to Andre Cymone to Brown Mark to Jesse Johnson to Dez Dickerson, they have all talked about how this happened whether it was Prince and his specific band or a protege band and then Prince comes back a day or two later with a song or music to a song and they hear something they played but it isn't clear if it is them or if Prince reproduced something they did.

.

How many people say 'Kiss' is all Prince, not know the full story of how the completed released version came to be? If it wasn't for David Z, BrownMark and Mazarati taking that demo and working on it.

.

The idea that Prince was just in the studio all by himself and came up with everything is bogus. Jamie Starr is a theif. And Prince is a genius that knew for a period how to foster an environment and creative community that made 1981-1987 GOLDEN. And there is reason it never happened again.

Paul, come on. You are really twisting this.

U R stil only going by what info I have in my playlist and an quote from Prince in a magazine. We don't know the details. She still is on it and you are not lol

2 these walls I talk
Tellin' 'em what I wasn't strong enough 2 say
2 these walls I talk
Tellin' 'em how I cried the day U went away

How did we ever lose communication?
How did we ever lose each other's sound?
Baby, if U wanna, we can fix the situation
Maybe we can stop the rain from coming down

She said that she did more work on PR than on Computer Blue and on CB she got a writing credit. What do you read from that? In another interview the jounalist opinioned that Around the World in a Day (the album) was sonically better (or better produced) than his previous records. Wendy's reply: "Yeah. Because that was our record". And know she takes credit for finishing large (albeit unspecified) chunks of SOTT while Prince was "busy doing a million things".

She needs to start backing up her claims with spesifics and facts.

U SAID Wendy said she wrote the song

not going through this over and over with u on this

U hear what you want, u say your just want FACTs but when people point out where/what she said, you say and continue to push 'Wendy said she wrote purple rain'

other people in the camp from Susan Rogers Steve Fargnoli Alan Leeds etc have said Prince had them working on a lot of stuff and Prince has said it too
