the members of the revolution were a great band when they were with prince but the reunions they did without him sounded boring to me and lacked the muscial flare they had with him.i am a big wendy and lisa fan i have every one of their albums but far as his bands im more in2 the npg

lol for some reason i have a hard time believing this. in 2014, prince was still on new things; new music, new looks and new band members. i doubt he'd be in talks with a band from 20+ years ago while still on a new high with 2 new albums.

It might have been casual talks. We are talking about a few reunion shows. NOt a tour or anything. And even a few shows were tough to fit in his schedule.

Plus, remember Pricne did the P and M tour and was talking about writing a memoir. Its possible some nostalgia was kicking in.

It is INDEED TRUE!!!! And I got the first hand account on WHY it DIDN'T happen!!!!

I remember hearing about plans for a Prince/Revolution in 2000 or so,but there was a big issue that prevented it from happening Prince informed Wendy and Lisa that,if a reunion was gonna take place,they would have to denounce their lesbian lifestyle.They angrily refused and so the reunion never happened.

This was 2014. He had been performing with one or both of them since then on the Planet Earth Album, Tavis Smiley and the Brit Awards. They were on good terms with him in 2011 according to their twitter page. And according to Wendy, the year before he died, Prince told her that her son with her girlfriend could call him Uncle Princey. Hell, he was performing with Elton JOhn at times as well.

what does that have to do with the possibility of Prince doing a reunion with them?
